Result of the Coronavirus Test of Senator Manny Pacquiao Now Out

SENATOR MANNY PACQUIAO – The result of the test of Philippine Sen. Manny Pacquiao for COVID-19 has been released.

Currently, the Philippines has a total of 803 confirmed cases of the 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19. Several measures are implemented to curb its spread as it seen to infect rapidly.

The entire Luzon is now under an enhanced community quarantine as part of stopping the spread of the disease. President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has already declared a state of calamity in the whole country.

Among the coronavirus cases in the Philippines are senators. Sen. Migz Zubiri and Sen. Koko Pimentel tested positive for COVID-19.

A resource speaker in one of the Senate hearings was the first to test positive for COVID-19 and it prompted several lawmakers to undergo testing and self-isolation.

The Senate building was also closed for disinfection. Some senators tested negative for coronavirus.

Recently, the coronavirus test result of Senator Manny Pacquiao was released. Based on a report on GMA News TV, the boxer-turned-senator tested negative for COVID-19.

Based on the report, the testing kit used was from the Senator’s friend abroad. The clarification was made following the netizens expressing questions to some senators undergoing the coronavirus test.
