Jack Ma’s 57,000 COVID-19 Test-Kits Donated Shared By Jinkee Pacquiao
COVID-19 TEST-KITS – Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Jack Ma donated over 57,000 test-kits to the Philippines as shared by Jinkee Pacquiao.
The Pacquiao family was known to be close friends with Jack Ma, billionaire businessman and founder of Alibaba. Last year, they were even invited to Ma’s home in China.
Recently, Jinkee Pacquiao shared a post on Instagram that showcased thousands of boxes worth of COVID-19 test-kits. This would greatly aid the fight against the virus in the Philippines.
As such, Jinkee posted:
Thank you, Lord. ✨ Dumating na po ang 57,000 plus na Testing Kits na galing kay Jack Ma. Testing kits were formally turned over to DOH.

Previously, the Department of Health (DOH) admitted that they lacked test kits necessary for mass testings. In the earlier days of COVID-19 in the country, the DOH stated they only had 2,000 test-kits.
Following this, the number had increased significantly. However, it may not be enough to merit conducting mass-testings as suggested by the World Health Organization.
But, in a previous report, we could recall that the DOH noted that mass-testings have already been a plan of the DOH. However, they also noted that they still don’t see a reason for this.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in the Philippines, several areas in the country were placed under an enhanced community quarantine.
As such, transportation and entry to some cities and provinces were restricted. But, there were still reports that some people still try to go back to their provinces.
Currently, the number of reported coronavirus cases are close to hitting 600,000. Additionally, the virus had caused over 20,000 fatalities. Meanwhile, over 100,00 ave recovered.
