PINOY FASHION DESIGNER – Ito Curata, an international Filipino fashion designer, died of complication brought by COVID-19.

Visibly, the 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19 is exempting no one. It has infected not only ordinary individuals but even the most prominent ones. There are showbiz celebrities, politicians, and the biggest names in the different fields who contracted the disease.

Recently, another huge personality was confirmed to have contracted COVID-19. The patient is Ito Curata, a well-known Pinoy fashion designer who have worked for several big names like Hollywood actress Sharon Stone.

Unfortunately, based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Ito Curata died of pneumonia, one of the complications caused by COVID-19. The Pinoy fashion designer was admitted at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center.

The renowned fashion designer was confined at the hospital for a week before he passed away. Based on the report, in the Philippines, one of the known personalities that Curata has made masterpieces for is former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

The Pinoy fashion designer has been on the industry for 30 years. He is survive by Bob Miller, his husband, and their son, Taj.

In PH, the country is now fighting the spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus. There is now a total of 707 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country. Today, the Department of Health (DOH) is expected to release an update by 12:00 noon or 4:00 pm.
