Malacañang Complex In “Lockdown”, PSG Recommends

The Presidential Security Group endorsed “lockdown” of Malacañang Complex.

A recommendation of total lockdown in the Malacañang Complex from the chief of Presidential Security Group as protection from COVID-19.

Presidential Security Group chief Col. Jesus Durante III, on Friday, March 28, has made a proposal for the total lockdown of the Malacanang Complex to combat Coronavirus Disease 2019. This, accordingly, have already been coordinated to the Office of the President (OP). They are just now waiting for the approval.

This have been endorsed by the PSG chief amid the COVID disease after a lawmaker tested positive following a meeting he attended which was held at Palace. All PSG personnel are in strict quarantine now. And if ever the approval gets to be approved, visitors will be not allowed to enter the perimeter anymore.

He told ABS-CBN based on a report, “All PSG personnel will be quarantined but sa OP baka selective kundi, hindi tatakbo ang Palasyo.”

Meanwhile, there are now 707 confirmed cases in the Philippines of the malevolent virus. There are Philippine senators who have it and they are Migz Zubiri, Aquilino Pimentel III, and Sonny Angara. Also as of this posting, 9 doctors in the country already passed away and one of them is the sister of Kapuso host Ruby Rodriguez.

And the latest infected, as of this posting, is a baby from Calapan City in Mindoro Oriental which is also the first case in the said area. The baby is just one year and nine month old and has travel history to Metro Manila as per previous article.
