Angel Locsin when she Campaigned For Koko Pimentel: "Mortal sin."

Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin says she was regretful campaigning Koko Pimentel before.

ANGEL LOCSIN – Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin says she was regretful and apologetic for campaigning controversial senator Koko Pimentel before.

Based on a previous article, Philippine Senator Aquilino Pimentel III has received a positive result for Coronavirus Disease 2019. He is the second one from the senate to have the contagious disease after Sen. Migz Zubiri.

Accordingly, it was night of March 24 when the result of his swab test came. Prior to that, he’s been exhibiting the symptoms of the disease and if this happens to anyone, he or she is advised to undergo home quarantine and self-isolation so as to contain the spread of the virus.

However, before his test result came out, despite his symptoms and being suspected to be infected, he still accompanied his wife to the hospital who is pregnant. Considering the virus to be highly contagious, he probably had infected other people in the hospital including some of their staff.

With this, the senator received a backlash and the Makati Medical Center (MMC) denounced his “irresponsible and reckless” behavior. And the Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin, who once campaigned for him in his bid, apologized to the people and expressed regret for doing so.
