Update on the Total Philippine Coronavirus Cases Recorded by DOH

PHILIPPINE CORONAVIRUS CASES – The total number of the confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Philippines exceeded 500.

The Philippines is fighting a tough battle now against the spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus, officially called as COVID-19. The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared this disease as pandemic.

The impact of the COVID-19 is far beyond what was expected. It hit several nations including China, its epicenter, and Italy real hard. The former is now recovering after over 3,000 deaths while the latter is still under total lockdown.

Philippine Coronavirus Cases

Recently, the Department of Health (DOH) gave an update on the Philippine coronavirus cases. Based on a post of GMA News, 39 new cases were confirmed bringing the total to 501.

According to the post, 19 patients have recovered from the disease. The death toll is at 33 now.
