PAGASA Says Easterlies To Bring Rains Over Parts of PH

PAGASA WEATHER UPDATE – The state weather bureau PAGASA released the recent weather update in the country.

On Tuesday (March 24, 2020), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration reported the possible weather condition in the country. The weather bureau said that the easterlies would continue to affect the country’s weather conditions.

PAGASA said that the easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather conditions with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, and Marinduque.

The same weather condition is also expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the entire Visayas, Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro. The remaining parts of the country are also expected to experience the same weather.

The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the northern Luzon, Visayas, Palawan and Occidental Mindoro would be slight to moderate. The rest of the country is also expected to have the same surrounding sea condition.
