CANADA CORONAVIRUS DEATHS – The coronavirus death toll in Canada jumped by almost 50% in just one (1) day.

The 2019 novel coronavirus, officially called as COVID-19, is now the biggest global concern. It has hit several countries including Canada. Currently, it has a total of 1,436 confirmed cases of the disease.

The said new strain of coronavirus was first recorded in China, specifically in the city of Wuhan in Hubei province. It has infected over 81,000 people in China.

With regards to the death tolls, the country with the highest coronavirus death toll now is the Italy. It has recorded over 5,500 deaths which surpassed China’s, the epicenter of the outbreak. It has 3,261 deaths.

With regards to the Canada coronavirus deaths, it recently rose by almost 50% in just one (1) day. Based on a report on ABS-CBN, from 13 death cases, in just a day, the total was brought to 19.

Currently, the borders of Canada is closed for non-essential travels. Based on the report, 27 billion Canadian dollar is also allotted for the aid package for the people and the businesses affected by the situation.

According to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, they are doing everything they can so their economy can rise again once the crisis is over. It may take months according to the Prime Minister.

Trudeau’s wife, Sophie Trudeau, is one of the people who was confirmed positive for coronavirus in Canada. She underwent a home quarantine but previously assured hope to get better soon.
