Priscilla Meirelles shared the relationship with the ex-wife of her husband
Miss Earth 2004 Priscilla Meirelles revealed that seasoned actress Janice de Belen, the ex-wife of her husband actor John Estrada, reached out to her.
Priscilla and John tied the knot in 2011. In 2012, the Brazilian beauty queen gave birth to their daughter Sammanta Anechka. Although their relationship went through a controversy last year as John was accused of cheating, they chose not to be affected by that.
In a recent interview on Fast Talk, the Kapuso talk show of King of Talk Boy Abunda, Priscilla revealed what happened between her and Janice.
The wife of John Estrada said that she and Janice never became close but they are civil to each other. Priscilla Meirelles shared that she is close to John and Janice’s children.
“I’m very close with the kids. We’re very close and I’ve seen them growing up. ‘Yung tawag nila sa akin ‘Ate’ kasi medyo malayo ‘yung age gap namin. They’re very sweet, every time I go to trials, they’re always there for me,” she shared.
She also said that it was the kids who reached out to her and she appreciated that. The Brazilian celebrity said that she will always be there for them whenever they need her.
Priscilla also shared that Janice reached out to her last year. “When it comes with Miss Janice, never kaming naging close pero na-appreciate ko siya ng sobra kasi last year actually nag-reach out siya sa akin and I hope it’s okay to share,” John’s wife said.
It was a woman-to-woman conversation and she said Janice was so kind and she appreciated that because they are not close. “We did work before together but of course because I am married to her ex, although I’m not the reason why they separated please let’s make this clear,” Priscilla explained.
She also stressed that she entered John’s life a few years after his marriage with Janice was annulled. Priscilla Meirelles also said that when she and Janice de Belen talked, she could feel that the seasoned actress felt and understood her.
Janice showed appreciation to Priscilla for loving her kids. With this, the beauty queen said that this meant a lot. She is also thankful for this. “She’s a wonderful woman,” Priscilla said about Janice.
