Jeepney Driver Earned Praise for Providing Alcohol and Hand Fan to Passengers
A netizen lauded kind jeepney driver after providing alcohol and hand fan to passengers riding his jeepney, earned praise from netizens.
Amid the COVID-19 scare in the country, some sanitary essentials such as alcohol in different supermarket in Metro Manila were out-of-stock. Because of some shoppers who wanted to ensure that they’re going to have a sufficient supply of daily needs.
The health scare causes panic buying of medical supplies including face masks, alcohol bottles, and hand sanitizers. Those medical items could be used to prevent being infected by coronavirus.
Meanwhile, amid shortage and running out of stocks, a jeepney driver lauded by netizens for his safety precautionary measures towards his passengers. A jeepney in Pampanga has been alerted and assured to prevent contraction of COVID-19.
The photo was shared by netizen Deck Garcia via the CLTV 36 News Facebook page where a jeepney was found with hand fan and alcohol inside. They were attached to handrails on both sides of the jeep.
But passengers were amazed with free alcohol because of its high resistance to COVID-19. This is a great help to some passengers because others unable to buy sanitary essentials due to out of stocks and can’t afford the doubled price of resellers.
Many netizens admired the jeepney driver with a distinctive approach to his driving style. Netizens found the driver’s act was impressive because even though it cost extra to have them, the driver still assures the safety of his passengers.
