Kim Chiu addresses her bashers amid the shooting incident she encountered
Chinita Princess Kim Chiu addresses unbelievers of her ambush story a week after the shooting incident happened.
Last Wednesday, the Kapamilya actress landed on news headlines because her van was shot while she was going to a taping. Hours after the incident, she shared a few details about what happened through her Instagram post and in an interview.
Because of this, messages of sympathy and expressions of concern rained over her. However, there were those who did not believe her ambush story and that included former broadcast journalist Jay Sonza who labeled what happened as “isang malaking drawing”.
Amid that bashing from Sonza and several netizens, Kim still received support from her fellow celebrities like Ogie Diaz and Sunshine Cruz. For a week, the Chinita Princess has been silent on social media. However, on Wednesday noon, March 11, she shared a lengthy post about what happened.
She stressed out her realization of the importance of life. Kim is also thankful for those who helped her, especially the executives of ABS-CBN who despite the franchise problem reached out to her. In a portion of her post, Kim Chiu addresses people who did not believe her ambush story.
“I realized a lot of things., you discover people who are willing to help, people who care for you and people who just want to bring you down,” the actress said. She added, “I don’t want to get mad at them or “hate” them.”
Kim reiterated that she is just so thankful that no got hurt. She also said that she is not scared anymore. “Now no need to be scared. Kung wala ka namang ginagawang masama, there is no need to be scared,” she said in her post.
