Two Suspected Carnappers Killed In Novaliches, Quezon City
QUEZON CITY – Two suspected carnappers were killed in a gunfight in Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon, Novaliches, Quezon City on early Tuesday morning.
According to ABS-CBN News, the encounter between the men and police occurred at around San Roque St., Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon, Novaliches in the city.
Local Police District 4 Police Lt. Ferdinand Geli said that the two men were highly suspected of a series of robbery in the area.
The victim , under the alias Mark who worked as a rider of a food delivery service, said that he was from Novaliches and was about to head home to San Juan when his bag fell while driving.
He temporarily stopped near a mall and that is when two men showed up. One of the suspects pointed at Mark befor he was robbed and his motorcycle taken.
He went to the police for help. The suspects were immediately found after the police received report that they attempted to remove the vehicle plate in a vacant lot in Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon.
As per the report, the cops and robbers exchanged fire. They were eventually killed on the spot.
Recovered from the incident was a firearm of unidentified caliber and the stolen motorcycle.
