Eat Bulaga bans live audience for the mean time due to coronavirus.
EAT BULAGA – Kapuso host and comedian Joey De Leon has this reaction as “Eat Bulaga” announces temporary banning of live studio audience.
In a previous report, due the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines after a local transmission has been recorded, Kapuso noon time show “Eat Bulaga” announced banning of live studio audience for the mean time for safety purposes and in order to prevent spreading of the virus.
Due to 2019 novel coronavirus, the ABS-CBN network also announced that they will stop accepting live studio audience for the mean time as well. “It’s Showtime,” “ASAP Natin ‘To,” “Magandang Buhay,” “Banana Sundae,” and “I Can See Your Voice” are among the affected programs from the Kapamilya network.
With the banning of live studio audience, one of its hosts Joey De Leon expressed his reaction about this. Accordingly, they were just about it when they arrived in their studio morning of yesterday. Moreover, it was uncertain as to how long the suspension will last.
Also a sign was put at their entrance indicating that live audience won’t be accepted. He even expressed this reminder as per PhilStar: “No more beso-beso, no more kissing, no more shaking hands, just a simple ‘hi’ or ‘hello’ from a distance.”
Other known hosts of the said Kapuso show are Vic Sotto and his wife, Pauleen Luna, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, Maine Mendoza, and among others. Also, as per another update, Department of Health (DOH) declared 11 new more cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines.
