China Is Spying On Philippines Through POGOs Says Gordon

Senator Gordon Believes POGO Covers For China Spies

CHINA – Senator Richard Gordon claimed that Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) may be a cover for China spies.

Until now, China hasn’t withdrawn its claims over the West Philippine Sea despite the ruling of the Arbitral Tribunal 2016. The Chinese operations on the disputed island continued and some of the islands were guarded by Chinese ships.

Aside from that issue, the Filipinos were also having problems with the Chinese workers in the country. In a previous article, the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR) recently repatriated illegal Chinese POGO workers in China.

Naniniwala ako na infiltrated ‘yan (POGO) ng PLA dahil ang laki-laki niyan. Ilagay mo na lang 200,000 ‘yan na nagtatrabaho dito, nakatigil dito,” he said.

He also mentioned the recent shooting in Makati City involving Chinese nationals. The authorities found an PLA identification cards from the suspects.

“Bakit sila may baril? Nakakabahala itong nagyayari. Nagkaroon sila ng baril, ng firing range. Nagkakapatayan sila (Chinese),” said Gordon.
