Breaking News: Reported shooting in Greenhills mall.
GREENHILLS MALL – A reported shooting has emerged on Monday, March 2, happening at Greenhills Mall, authorities correspond quickly.
Eastern Police District Tactical Operations Center received reports that a shooting incident is currently happening at Greenhills Mall as per Major Virgilio Timajo. Thus, authorities quickly responded to the reported situation.
Kapamilya reporter Jeck Batallones posted on Twitter reporting the situation outside V-Mall in Greenhills with officials from Eastern Police District present in the place but no statement regarding the matter was released yet.
Also, San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora arrived at the scene following the reports.
According to a report from ABS-CBN, Bayan Patroller John Conrad Carlos claimed sound of gunshots being heard within the vicinity. Some doors were locked and the building gets evacuated. As CNN, mall employees heard the gunshots at around 11 A.M. and they immediately left the establishment.
The gunman also took hostages and one got hurt. The hurt person is now being treated in at the hospital as per San Juan Mayor. They are currently having negotiation with this person. There are about 20 people being held.
