2 Men Robbed at Korean Restaurant Blames Owner for Leaving Gate Open
2 out of 4 men who robbed at a Korean restaurant in Manila got arrested, thieves blame the owner for leaving the gate open and unattended.
In a report of ABS- CBN News, authorities arrested two out of four men who robbed at a Korean restaurant in Malate District. With the help of closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras on the area, suspects are immediately identified.
The suspects were immediately summoned to the barangay hall for investigation. The 2 suspects identified as Winston Pante, 26, at Gener Ganitnit, 30. They are both living on P. Ocampo Avenue in Malate.
In the CCTV footage, they were caught along with their other 2 companions came inside the restaurant after the Korean owner left the gate open. the robbery happened early Tuesday morning.
A digital rice cooker and electric fan who had been robbed from the restaurant was recovered from the suspects. Aside from that, they also robbed a sack of rice.
Instead of apologizing, one of the suspects blame the Korean owner for leaving its gate open. If not the gate were not unattended and did not leave open they would not attempt to rob, he said in an interview with them after they were arrested.
The suspects will face theft charges, according to police. Authorities are continuing to seek out 2 other associates.
