The Lady on the Viral Brokenhearted Video Becomes Road Safety Advocate

Land Transportation Office (LTO) concerted the lady on the viral brokenhearted video as a road safety advocate after violating traffic rules on her video.

Recently, Rosemarie became viral after she discovers her fiancé cheated on her days before the Valentine’s Day comes. In a video he shared on Facebook, he is seen riding a motorcycle with two others while in tears laughing with the famous song “Binalewala.”

Her video has gone viral on social media as it reached over a million views, 50k reactions and 23k shares. Meanwhile, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region VII noticed this post because they were not wearing helmets so they send a letter to Rosemarie.

Meanwhile, after that incident, LTO invited Rosemarie to come over their office. According to their Facebook post, LTO summoned her for violating Section 1J36 or motorcycle “carrying more passengers other than the saddle bags and luggage carriers” and 1H or “Failure to wear standard protective motorcycle helmet or failure to require the back rider to wear the standard protective helmets” under Republic Act 10054 of the Joint Administrative Order 2014-01.

LTO – National Capital Region said she attended the meeting with motorcycle driver Reymundo Zamora. Assistant Regional Director Rox Verzosa III said the LTO is serious about enforcing traffic laws.

“Madiin niyang sinabi na walang pinapanigan at kinukunsinti ang ahensya lalo na kung ang kapakanan ng mamamayan ang nakasalalay rito,” LTO said in a statement.

Verzosa and Rosemarie have already agreed that the she will be the advocate for advocacy for road safety. The driver, meanwhile, was granted a Temporary Operators Permit for the violation.

“Huwag gawing biro ang paglabag sa batas trapiko dahil nagpapatuloy ang Land Transportation Office sa layunin nito na mapanatiling ligtas ang bawat isa sa lansangan upang maiwasan ang disgrasya,” they said.
