Here’s the reaction of Arnell Ignacio to the ABS-CBN franchise issue
Arnell Ignacio, the new host of DZMM’s Labor of Love shared his reaction regarding the ABS-CBN franchise issue.
The radio station is under the management of ABS-CBN and now Arnell is a part of it through his show with his co-host Rica Lazo. In this radio show, real issues that are happening to the laborers in the country and abroad will be tackled.
Based on the article from Philippine Ultimate Showbiz Hub, this new radio will be challenging to Arnell, especially that the franchise issue is now a hot topic. It is known to many that he is an appointee of President Rodrigo Duterte before as an official of Overseas Worker Welfare Administration (OWWA).
The President has been vocal about this side regarding the franchise renewal issue of the Kapamilya network. However, Arnell Ignacio perceived his new radio show as the extension of his public service.
“Nakakatawa di ba, kakaiba talaga ang mga buhay natin. Sabi ko nga ‘alam mo ang natutunan ko sa buhay kapag ganitong dinadala ka nang agos sa isang very challenging na alon, e gamitin mo na ang experience mo kung paano sumagwan.’ Wala naman masama sa gagawin ko, dahil ito naman ay karugtong rin naman ito nang layunin ng gobyerno,” he said during a recent interview.
He also said that he believes that everything will be fine for the Kapamilya network. Although he is known to be a supporter of the present administration, Arnell said, “I’m very, very sure alam mo ‘yun lang ngayon, kapag tinitingnan natin ngayon, parang wow! Pero maayos rin lahat ‘yan.”

The host added, “Ni minsan, hindi kayo nakarinig sa akin nang maanghang na statements sa kahit na kanino, base lang sa mga impressions, kasi ito nalang gagawin ko sa ABS-CBN objective e, ang mayroong channel to do that is the existing DZMM platform e di doon tayo.”
Arnell Ignacio promises that his new radio show will extend public service to Filipinos, based on the article.
