How true is it that Pinoy singer Marcelito Pomoy revealed that America’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell was the one who chose his song for the Grand Finals?
Filipino fans of Marcelito, reportedly got angry, when he revealed the story behind the song that he performed in the Grand Finals. Based on the article from Pang-Masa, he revealed this on his Youtube vlog which was posted last Saturday. Because of the said revelation, many fans of the Pinoy singer bashed the AGT judge.
However, Marcelito deleted the said vlog entry and replaced it with his explanation of why he decided to take down the said video. He said that netizens misinterpreted what he said in that deleted video.
He called out to his fans not to get angry with Simon Cowell. “Bilang judge siya, gumagawa talaga siya ng paraan kung ano talaga ang kakaiba,” he said.
However, the Pinoy singer admitted that he gave several song choices to the production staff but he is not the only one who decides on this matter. “Naghahanap sila kung ano talaga and mas best para sa akin, pero syempre, nag-a-agree pa rin sila sa comment ni sir Simon,” he added.

Marcelito Pomoy also shared that there was no enough time so, he had no other choice when it comes to the song that was given to him. Despite this issue, he requested his fans not to feel disappointed because he is doing his very best.
For the Pinoy singer, win or lose, he is still proud that he was able to represent the Philippines in the said talent competition. “Proud pa rin tayo kasi bilang isang Pilipino nakatungtong sa America’s Got Talent: The Champions,” he said.
