Mall Employees Tala’ Flash Mob Goes Viral
MALL EMPLOYEES – The mall employees of Robinsons Place in Iloilo City surprised its shoppers with ‘Tala’ flash mob.
Kapamilya actress-singer Sarah Geronimo’s hit single ‘Tala’ became a nationwide trend as people, including the celebrities, have been sharing their covers of the dance craze on social media. The song was released in 2020 of ‘Popstar royalty’s’ “The Great Unknown” album.
It gained popularity again after gays performed “Tala” on a makeshift volleyball court to protest against Aling Nelia who prohibited them to play near her house. The video has gathered more than millions of views.
Maine Mendoza, Arjo Atayde, Francine Diaz, Andrea Brillantes, and JM De Guzman are just some of the celebrities who showed off their version of Sarah Geronimo’s ‘Tala.’ The K-pop group Momoland performed the dance craze during their guesting at ‘Gandang Gabi Vice.’
The latest to take on the dance challenge is the well-known broadcast journalist Raffy Tulfo. He willingly danced with his staff inside the studio. His video brought delight to his fans.
On Friday, January 10, the employees of Robinsons Place Jaro in Iloilo City surprised the shoppers with their “Tala” flash mob. The video was shared on the Facebook page of the Iloilo Metropolitan Times. It has garnered 488, 142 shares and 5.3K views as of this writing.
