ANDREA BRILLANTES – The 15-year-old Kapamilya star Andrea Brillantes finally breaks her silence over the issue of her viral photo which shows her “baby bra”.
A certain netizen has reposted a photo of Andrea Brillantes where her bra peeked unintentionally and captioned it, “iha kita na yung baby bra mo.”
This has then sparked various reactions and several comments from the people of the social media platform.
Thus, when this issue reached the knowledge of the young actress, she immediately wrote an official statement just to clarify the rounding issue.
In her statement, she has said that she should not be sorry even if she is supposed to apologize if her photo disturbed other people or made them uncomfortable.
“I mean why should I? I am a Woman and wearing a bra is normal.. shaming a 15 year old because of it is not normal.”
She further explained, “Tumakbo at tumalon kasi ako para makapag pa picture kay Unique kaya haggard ako, tao lang. Guys can wear super low bottoms and kita brief nila but no one would care, but pag girls nakita lang bra/strap it’s a big deal na? Bakit ganun?”
Brillantes just shrugged off the issue for according to her, a lot of problems, more serious and significant than her peeking bra, is needing more attention.
She said, “Guys can wear super low bottoms and kita brief nila but no one would care, but pag girls nakita lang bra/strap it’s a big deal na? Bakit ganun? Mas madami pang problema sa mundo na kelangan bigyan ng pansin kaysa sa bra ng isang 15 year old. (thank you to everyone who defended me).”
