MMFF 2019 total earnings is almost Php 1-billion upon closing, January 7, 2020.

MMFF 2019 TOTAL EARNINGS – The total box-office gross of 45th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) reaches almost Php 1-billion.

As of January 4, 2020, here is the unofficial standing and earnings of the eight official entries for the 45th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF):

Clearly, the movies of Aga Muhlach and Vice Ganda topped the result both surpassing the Php 300-million mark in terms of gross. So far based on this result, the highest grossing MMFF entry is the “Miracle in Cell No. 7” while the one who got the lowest earning is “Culion” of Iza Calzado, Meryll Soriano, and Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

After two weeks of showing, the festival finally closes with the total box-office gross at Php 900-million which is almost to Php 1-billion as per PEP’s report. This is despite the fact of calamity that struck Mindanao which prompted several theaters to close down.
