John Lloyd Cruz Appearance In MMFF 2019 Hopeful “Culion” Thrills Fans

John Lloyd Cruz in “Culion” excites fans.

JOHN LLOYD CRUZ – The controversial Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz appearance in film “Culion” has brought excitement to his numerous fans.

The Municipality of Culion is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Palawan, Philippines which was a leprosarium before in 1906 under the American colonial regime until the American commonwealth of the Philippines era. It was only 2006 when the area was declared by the World Health Organization as leprosy-free.

The isolation then of those who are infected is for the country to get rid of the disease and to phase it out gradually. This is also one way for people with leprosy to receive adequate care and modern treatments.

And now, in a Metro Manila Film Festival 2019 (MMFF) hopeful is a movie entitled “Culion” which tackles the past of the location. The film stars Iza Calzado, Jasmine Curtis, Meryll Soriano, Joem Bascon, and John Lloyd Cruz.

In the teaser released, the appearance of Lloydie was put at the end without any dialogue but only his eyes impressively doing the acting him which very raw. To recall, last seen onscreen project of the actor was on 2015 in blockbuster A Second Chance“.   

“I can only say two things about his role, he plays a very important role in the film and number two, his role is connected to Meryll Soriano. For now yun pa lang ang puwede sabihin,” the Culion producer Shandii Bacolod shared.
