Angeline Quinto Reveals ‘Plan B’ In Case ABS-CBN Fails To Secure Franchise Renewal
ANGELINE QUINTO – Singer-actress Angeline Quinto shared her ‘plan B’ in case ABS-CBN fails to secure its franchise renewal in March 2020.
Kapamilya singer and actress Angeline Quinto rose to fame after winning the singing contest “Star Power: Sharon’s Search For The Next Female Pop Superstar.” She is now one of the members of the Filipina girl group called ‘DIVAS’ alongside KZ Tandingan, Yeng Constantino, and Kyla.
In a previous article, the 30-year-old celebrity recalled her early days as a struggling wedding and event singer. She said she was paid 2,500 per gig and if the hosts were generous, she was given a takeout meal.
Recently, Angeline Quinto shared her plan B in case her tv network ABS-CBN fails to secure a franchise renewal in March 2020. Based on a report from Abante, the singer will start her own ‘karenderia’ business. She is worried about thousands of people who will lose their job in case President Rodrigo Roa Duterte won’t sign it’s renewal.
“Nakakatako ‘yan. Kasi napakaraming tao na maapektuhan. Mas iniisip ko ngayon ang iba na ‘yun lang ang kabuhayan nila. Paano naman sila?”
When asked about her plan B, she said: “Marunong akong magluto… Totoo kasi before naman talaga, bago ako nagging singer, nag-stop na akong sumali sa mga singing contest noon, kasi akala ko hindi para sa akin ang mga singing contest.”
“So sabi ko, ano bang puwede kong gawin, na habang nag-aaral ako, gusto ko naman na may maibigay ako sa nanay ko. Ayoko naman tumanda na sa bahay lang,” she added.
According to the report, Angeline Quinto said she wants to work on fast food restaurants. “Gusto ko talaga magtrabaho sa mga fast food, kahit mga tagalinis lang sa mga kusina. Kasi gusto ko matutunan ang mga ginagawa nila,” she said. She is optimistic about the ABS-CBN franchise renewal.
“Prayers talaga. Dapat talaga ipagdasal ng lahat na mabigyan pa ng chance,” she said.
