Generous Jeepney Driver Offers Free Rides to Passengers During His Birthday
A generous jeepney driver gives free rides to the Filipino commuters during his birthday last December 30, 2019 (Rizal Day).
Nowadays, jeepney is one of the most popular public utility vehicles in the Philippines. Most Filipino people prefer to take public jeepneys to reach their point of destination for offering an affordable fare to the commuters.
Recently, a Facebook user named Judy Huarde has shared the photos of a certain jeepney driver identified as Joselita Ruiz generously gave free rides to the Filipino commuters in celebration of his birthday last December 30 (Monday).
The driver from Marikina City chooses to help other people rather than to earn during his special day. Ruiz is usually taking the route from Calumpang in Marikina going to Cubao in Quezon City.
Huarde also expressed her admiration towards the driver for his kindness and generosity. Ruiz proved that faith in humanity is restored by showing kindness towards other people.
“Sobrang humanga po ako kay tatay dahil imbis na magtrabaho para kumita, mas pinili niyang magtrabaho para tumulong sa iba. Narealize ko po na wala sa antas ng buhay ang pagtulong sa kapwa,” Huarde said.
