Kris Aquino makes no comment over the franchise renewal issues of her former network.
KRIS AQUINO – Famous personality Kris Aquino makes no comment of the issues her former network, ABS-CBN, is facing currently in terms of franchise renewal.
In terms of the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN, President Rodrigo said that he will see to it that this network will be out after it did not aired his political ads in 2016 which still made him angry up until now. ABS-CBN’s current franchise, approved through Republic Act No. 7966 on March 30, 1995, is set to expire on March 30, 2020.
If the bill renewing will not be signed into law, they have to close down their radio and television operations. With this, Kapamilya singer Yeng Constantino appealed to the president to not cut off the company which is their source of living.
“Maybe there are things na hindi agree about. It doesn’t mean na lahat po ng flaws ninyo, nakikita namin… Kumakatok lang po kami sa puso ninyo na baka maaari naman na hindi po maputol po yung source of living namin, Sir” she said.
And now, another famous personality was asked about this and it’s Kris Aquino. However, she refused to answer and make any comments for she is not in the position to do so. She wrote, “Aquino po ako, wala po kami sa pwesto.”
Kris has made films and shows while under the ABS-CBN such as The Buzz, Deal Or No Deal, Wheel Of Fortune, Feng Shui, Sukob, and many more. She also did roles in massacre films, including Vizconde Massacre, Myrna Diones Story, Elsa Castillo-Ang Katotohanan, and Humanda Ka Mayor.
