PAGASA – Cloudy Skies, Rains Over Parts Of Philippines (December 17)
PAGASA – Weather bureau PAGASA recently said that cloudy skies with rains and thunderstorm will prevail over parts of the country.
The bureau elaborated that due to the easterlies or eastern winds, cloudy skies with rains and isolated thunderstorms will prevail over Mindanao, Eastern and Central Visayas. The bureau warned of flash floods and landslides that might occur during thunderstorms.
According to GMA News, the easterlies, as well as the northeasterly surface windflow will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon.
Meanwhile, the Ilocos Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeasterly surface windflow.
Based on the report, Metro Manila, as well as the rest of the country with isolated rains or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. The bureau also warned the public from the aforementioned areas of possible landslides and flooding during severe thunderstorms.
As for the temperature, Metro Manila will face a maximum 32 degrees Celsius, 27 degrees Celsius in Tagaytay, 23 degrees Celsius in Baguio. 30 degrees Celsius in Cebu, and 28 degrees Celsius in Davao.
