Julia Barretto Gives Updates On Pinoy Zombie Film ‘Block Z’
JULIA BARRETTO – Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto shared some updates on Pinoy zombie film ‘Block Z.’
Former lovers Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto are the lead actors of the horror film “Block Z” directed by Mikhail Red. The director said it will be about a group who were trapped in a building due to a mysterious infection. They will find a way out using the objects they can find inside the university.
The director said the movie will be a “game-changer” and features “fast zombies.” “Hindi ito parang ‘Walking Dead’ na living corpse –dito mas infected sila, mas enraged so mas high-energy ito and mas fast-paced. Talagang full speed iyong habulan at takbuhan.” Red said.
Mikhail Red recently shared a behind-the-scene photo of the movie. The viral BTS photo of the former couple elicited reactions from the online community. Some of them Julia Barretto’s issue might affect the earnings of the movie.
Recently, the 22-year-old Kapamilya actress shared some updates about their upcoming movie. Based on a report from PUSH, Julia said their movie will probably be released before or after the new year.
According to the report, Julia Barretto said the meticulous editing of the movie is the reason why it took a while for them to release in cinemas. The director previously revealed that the editing process was done in Thailand.

“Pero kasi ang tagal talaga ng pagtapos ng editing kasi siyempre it’s an action film tapos zombies pa, and sa ibang bansa pa inedit,” she added.
Other casts that will join Joshua and Julia are Maris Racal, McCoy de Leon, Dimples Romana, Yves Flores, Ian Veneracion, Myrtle Sarrosa, and Ina Raymundo.
