Yorme Isko Moreno Denies Having Past Relationship W/ Claudine Barretto
ISKO MORENO – Mayor Isko Moreno addresses the past issue involving him and actress Claudine Barretto.
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno got millions of admirers from different parts of the country as he tries to bring back the glory of the once ‘Paris of the East.’ Before turning into politics, he is one of the performers at German Moreno’s show ‘That’s Entertainment.’
Until now, the 45-year-old politician has a lot of friends in showbusiness. However, there are still lots of people who criticize him even some known personalities in the country.
During an episode of ‘Take It… Per Minute! (Me Ganun)’ show Cristy Fermin said Isko Moreno was linked to Claudine Barretto. In a previous article, Claudine’s mother Estrella Castelo Barretto expressed a mean comment to Isko Moreno. She said, “wag naman sa isang dating basurero.”
The mayor recently guested on Vice Ganda’s Sunday show “Gandang Gabi Vice,” he clarified his past with the prominent actress. On the segment “Idulog Mo Kay Yorme,” the comedian asked him how will he fix the situation if the Barretto sisters fight in front of him.
“Ano pong gagawin niyo kung sa harapan niyo nagbangayan sina Gretchen, Marjorie at Claudine? Paano niyo po sila pagbabatiin?” asked Vice.
Before Isko Moreno could answer, the Kapamilya host asked two follow up questions: “Ayusin niyo daw po yung sagot niyo kasi muntik niyo na raw po maging ano ito, in-law, si Gretchen at si Marjorie.”
“At nagging mag-jowa ba talaga kayo ni Claudine noon?” Vice added.
Isko said he and Claudine Barretto never dated because he felt insecure asking her out on a date because their family was in an okay situation. They worked together in the film ‘Muntik Na Kitang Minahal’ (1994).
“With due respect to Ms. Claudine Barretto, hindi naman… we were partners in movies and we belonged to one film outfit, which is Seiko Films,” he answered.
