Still Unidentified Suspects Shot Construction Worker Inside House in Taguig
CONSTRUCTION WORKER – A construction worker was shot inside his house in Taguig City by still unidentified suspects.
Undeniably, nowadays, a lot of saddening things are happening around us. Many people lost their lives after they were unexpectedly attacked by suspects. Many families were left in grief and crying for justice.
The victims do not only include those have positions in the government or known in their cities. Some are private individuals.
Recently, in Taguig City, a construction worker met an unfortunate fate. He was shot inside his house after letting the suspects in.
The victim was identified as Rogelio Esteban alyas Elyong based on a report on ABS-CBN News. When the suspects came, the 49-year-old site worker was at the sala of their house in Mastrile Street, Dulong Bayan, Barangay Bambang.
According to Erika Maglangit, Esteban’s live-in partner, the victim was watching TV when one of the suspects came. He let the suspect in and they allegedly had an altercation.
Based on the report, Maglangit further claimed that another suspect came in and shouted at her to go to the room. Allegedly, that’s when her live-in partner was shot.
Esteban did not survive the incident. According to his live-in partner, he was anxious before it happened. Drugs were found by the authorities at the crime scene.
The victim was survived by his three (3) children and eight (8) grandchildren. His daughter asserted that he stopped using drugs long ago. As of this writing, the investigation is still ongoing.
