Young Student Cuts Manuel Quezon’s Image From Old P20 Bill for Assignment

Viral Photo of Young Student Who Cuts Manuel Quezon’s Image From P20 Bill for Assignment

A young student goes viral online after cutting the image of Manuel L. Quezon from an old P20 bill for his assignment.

Many Filipino students have already experienced making assignments, homework, and projects required by their schools. Those school activities were made to help the students to learn more about Philippine history and other things they need to know.

During the past decades, students have to do their homework or projects manually using old magazines, newspapers, books, and postcards because computers, printers, mobile phones, and the internet are not yet available during that time.

Recently a Facebook user named Ombee Piñero has shared the photo of one of her students who cut the image of Manuel L. Quezon from an old P20 bill for their assignment. The post immediately goes viral online.

Piñero required her students to draw or attach the image of the late president in their notebook. Instead of using postcards, newspapers, and books, the young student cut the image of the 2nd Philippine president from an old generation series.

Meanwhile, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) prohibits anyone from damaging, burning, tearing, cutting, or tampering any Philippine money. Law offenders would face corresponding sanctions and penalties.

Unfortunately, Piñero removed her post after the photo goes viral on social media.
