Here’s Why Vina Morales Refuse Talk About Cases She Filed Against Cedric Lee
VINA MORALES – The reason why Vina Morales refused to talk about the cases she filed against her former partner, Cedric Lee.
In 2016, Filipina singer Vina Morales filed a case against her former partner Cedric Lee whom she accused of violating court ruling that allowed him visitation rights to their daughter Ceana. The controversial businessman is supposed to visit their daughter every Saturday.
The Kapamilya singer claimed that Lee detained Ceana from May 13 to 22. She said their daughter had “slight behavioral changes” after the incident.
Cedric Lee was found guilty of kidnapping Ceana. On the other hand, the businessman denied all the allegations and filed a libel case against Vina Morales. In 2017, the 2 libel charges were dismissed.
The prominent singer was recently interviewed by PEP at the mediacon of her musical drama “Damaso” on Friday, November 15. She was asked regarding the cases she filed against her ex-partner.
According to the report, Vina Morales said she doesn’t want to talk about the case because the case is still ongoing. She hopes that justice will be on her side.
“It’s still ongoing. So, we’re hoping na nasa side namin ang hustisya, which is nangyayari naman ‘yan unti-unti…”
“Marami naming na-dismiss na cases and we’re thankful to that, and thankful ako kay Atty. Lucille Sering for always being there to support us,” she said.
Based on the report, Vina Morales refused some of the reporter’s questions because she and her daughter Ceana have moved on and they are happy now. “Ayoko siyang pag-usapan. Wala naman akong kinatatakutan ngayon… kasi, alam ko namang wala akong inaagrabyadong tao,” she said.
“So for me, ano lang ako pagdating sa situation sa buhay ko… we’re okay when it comes to my life, my situation. My daughter is very okay,” Vina added.
