Vina Morales speaks up about kidnapping case she filed against ex-partner Cedric Lee
Kapamilya actress-singer Vina Morales shared updates on the kidnapping case against her former partner Cedric Lee.
In 2016, Vina accused Cedric of violating a court ruling that allowed him visitation rights to their daughter, Ceana. He is supposed to visit his daughter every Saturday.
The singer claimed that his ex-boyfriend detained their daughter from May 13 to 22. She also pointed out that Ceana had “slight behavioral changes” after the incident.
Based on a previous report, Cedric Lee was charged guilty for the kidnapping case.
Just recently, Vina Morales shared that her ex-boyfriend filed a motion. “He was found guilty sa kidnapping case sa RTC Branch 277 Mandaluyong City but nag-file siya ng motion so, it’s still on going but at least may guilty (verdict) na,” she said.
The Kapamilya star also said that she still has a custody case in San Juan. She reiterated that she will continue to fight for her daughter.
Cedric also filed cyber libel cases against Vina in Caloocan and Quezon City. The actress is positive that the cases will also be dismissed just like in other cities, based on the report from Bandera.
When asked if Ceana has an idea about the cases against her father, Vina said, “Oo alam niya. She’s very smart alam niya ‘yung nangyayari, kasi ngayon mag-Google ka lang malalaman na. I can’t hide na and I don’t want to hide naman to her. Right din naman niyang malaman.”
Amid this legal battle against her former boyfriend, the singer-actress is still focusing her attention to do her showbiz stints and business endeavors.
