Filipina beauty queen Patricia Magtanong answered the question, “Which is more difficult, competing in the Miss International 2019 or passing the bar exam.
Patricia, is indeed more than just a pretty face. Aside from being a beauty queen, she was one of the bar exam passers this year. The lawyer did a great job in representing the Philippines in the international beauty pageant held in Japan on November 12. She was able to enter the Top 15 and Top 8. Unfortunately, she was not included in the list of winners this year. Nonetheless, the Pinay beauty queen indeed made her fellow Filipinos proud.
After the competition, Patricia Magtanong was interviewed by her fellow Pinay beauty queen and Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa. She was asked if which she thinks is more difficult, passing the bar exam or competing for the Miss International 2019.
Patricia weigh in her thought on the two events in her life. She said that studying has been part of her life since she was young. When it comes to preparing for the bar exam, the young lawyer said that she had four years to study for it.
So, for her, competing in the international pageant is much diffucult because there are a lot of factors to consider and it took her so long to learn about this and she did not have enough time. Here is her full statement regarding the said question, based on the report from The Philippine Star.
“I would have to say beauty pageant was harder for me because I had training for four years to study, actually my whole life I’ve been studying and in law school to succeed you have to work hard and you have to study.
But here in beauty pageants, there are so many factors your walk, your makeup, even with how you socialize with other people and it took me so long to learn it and I only had a few months so I definitely would say that it’s harder.”
