Isko Moreno Dedicates “Breakthrough Award” from Esquire Philippines To Manileños

ISKO MORENO – Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso dedicated his “Breakthrough Award” from Esquire Philippines to all the Manileños.

Actor-turned-politician Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso is one of the most talked-about politicians today. He currently serves as the mayor in the city of Manila.

During his first day in the office, he showed his passion and perseverance in making Manila great again. A few months ago, he declared that his city will become the richest city in the National Capital Region (NCR) after three years.

Isko Moreno has made several achievements such as the removal of the street vendors in Divisoria, offering jobs for PWD and senior citizens, and the rehabilitation of the Manila landmark.

The 45-year-old politician received praised from President Rodrigo Duterte, Senator Panfilo Lacson and fighting senator Manny Pacquiao. He revealed that the Davaoeño politician was the one who inspired him to become a great leader.

Based on a report from PEP, Isko Moreno received an award from Esquire Philippines for his good governance, leadership and public service. During his acceptance speech, he said he dedicated his “Breakthrough Award” to all the people in Manila.

“I am honored and humbled with this award. If not for Manilans, I won’t have this award. I owe it to them. They gave me the opportunity to serve them,” he said.

According to the report, Isko Moreno admitted that he felt a bit pressure after learning the news that he won the award. “Kinabahan ako sa award na ito dahil baka mamaya masyadong tumaas yung expectations niyo sa akin,” he said.

The mayor ended his speech with a request. He asked the people to help him bring back the glory days of the city of Manila.

“I will continue to beg you and ask you, please help us resuscitate Manila,” said Isko.
