Photos of Duterte Riding A Motorcycle Again, Few Days After Accident

DUTERTE – Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte was spotted riding three-wheeled motorcycle, less than a week after his accident inside Malacañang complex.

On October 17, Senator Christopher Lawrence Bong Go reported the President Rodrigo Duterte accidentally crashed his motorcycle while driving around the Malago Compound in Malacañang.

The former special assistant of the chief executive said the accident happened after the launching ceremony of the coal power plant in Taguig City. “Sumemplang sa motor si PRRD (Duterte) kagabi habang nagmo-motor,” said Go.

Malacañang spokesperson Salvador Panelo revealed the health status of the 74-year-old politician. He said the president only suffered bruises and scratches. He can still go to the events he’s scheduled to attend.

Based on a report from ABS-CBN, Rodrigo Duterte went to Japan to witness the enthronement of Japanese Emperor Naruhito. However, his trip was cut short to see a doctor. Malacañang said the president was experiencing “unbearable pain in his spinal column near the pelvic bone as a consequence of his fall during his motorcycle ride last week.”

It seems the president is doing well now and he’s back on his motorcycle a week after the accident. Senator Bong Go uploaded a photo of Duterte riding a three-wheeled motorcycle. It came with a caption, “Ready na kami ni Tatay Digong!!! Sama kayo? Ready Set Go!!!”

Based on a report from Inquirer, the senator told the reporters that the Davaoeño politician cruised around the Presidential Security Group (PSG) compound for 10 minutes.
