GRETCHEN BARRETTO – Former actress Gretchen Barretto took to the social media videos of her with her daughter, Dominique Cojuangco, in San Francisco.
Recently, one of the topics that are widely talked about in Philippine showbiz are the feud between the Barretto sisters. Amid their mourning over the death of their father, Miguel Barretto, the issues between them went intense.
On October 15, it was confirmed that Claudine Barretto’s father died. His death came after more than two (2) weeks of being confined at St. Luke’s Medical Center.
It is no secret to the public that Miguel and his wife, Inday Barretto, were not in good terms with one of their daughters, Gretchen Barretto. The former actress also has an issue with her sister, Marjorie.
Gretchen came to the wake of her father and, after several years of not being together, she’s welcomed with a long embrace by her mom. However, her coming to their father’s wake did not sit well with Marjorie.
A tension took place between Gretchen and Marjorie and that was the start of the issues between the sisters going intense. On her part, Marjorie stressed that her sister could have made her reconciliation while their father was at the hospital.
Currently, the issue has yet to come to an end. The Barretto patriarch was already laid to rest on Saturday through cremation. It’s a hurtful moment for everyone but they are clinging to the belief that he is now free from pain.
Recently, Gretchen Barretto flew to San Francisco upon the request of her daughter, Dominique Cojuangco. She is her only daughter with her longtime partner, business tycoon Tonyboy Cojuangco.
Gretchen Barretto posted videos of her bonding with her daughter, Dominique Cojuangco, and their beloved dog “Chapo” on Instagram. Visibly, the former actress is enjoying a wonderful moment with her only daughter and her “grandson” Chapo.
