Duterte Visits Daughter Kitty At Hospital
DUTERTE – President Rodrigo Roa Duterte visited his youngest daughter Kitty Duterte at the hospital after contracting dengue fever.
Most parents get distracted in their work when their kids are sick. Everything that in their mind is going home and being next to them.
On Sunday, Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte had to hurry home after learning the news that his youngest daughter Veronica “Kitty” Duterte contracted dengue. The president was in Russia for his 5-day state visit.
Several netizens question why Kitty still contracted the mosquito-borne disease considering she’s among the thousands of Pinoy students who inoculated the Dengvaxia vaccine. Senator Christopher Bong Go disclosed that information in 2018. He also said Paolo Duterte’s two children also received the Dengvaxia shots.
The 74-year-old chief executive said Kitty is already safe and he all he ever wanted was to be beside her as soon as possible.
“I have to go see Kitty. She has dengue. But she is already on the safe level,” he said.
A few hours ago Kitty Duterte shared some video clips of her at the hospital with her friends and families on her Instagram account. It can be seen in the short video clips that she’s already doing well and laughing with friends.
President Durterte was also seen on one of the video talking with their other family members. It came with a caption, “WITH DADDY SHARK HAHAHAHA.” It can be seen on the face of the young girl that she’s happy to see her father back.
In August, Duterte said he’s open to the return of the anti-dengue vaccine Dengvaxia to address the dengue epidemic. Thousands of young Filipino were admitted to the hospital due to dengue.
