President Rodrigo Duterte’s Daughter Kitty Contracted Mosquito-borne Disease
RODRIGO DUTERTE – President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s youngest daughter Veronica “Kitty” Duterte contracted dengue.
In 2017, the multinational pharmaceutical company, Sanofi Pasteur acknowledged that their Dengvaxia vaccine could trigger severe dengue to its recipients if they got injected without having developed a prior infection.

Rodrigo Duterte was in Moscow, Russia for his 5-day visit. He met with some officials including President Vladimir Putin. The president’s common-law wife, Honeylet Avanceña, was also in Germany to meet with the Department of Trade and Industry.
Based on a report from Philstar, the 74-year-old chief executive had to hurry home upon learning the news that his daughter Kitty contracted dengue.
The Davaoeño politician said his youngest daughter is already safe and he wants to be beside her as soon as possible.
“I have to go see Kitty. She has dengue. But she is already on the safe level,” he said.
