Maine Mendoza Tweeted A Dream That Finally Came True
MAINE MENDOZA – The Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza recently visited the ABS-CBN studio, there one of her dreams finally came true.
Nine years ago, back in the wee days of March 2010, a young Maine Mendoza made a tweet. Filled with aspirations of joining showbiz, Maine tweeted the infamous greeting from celebs on MYX.
“Hi. You’re watching MYX. The number one music channel in the Philippines“, Maine tweeted. And now, that tweet came to life.
Maine got to record the same greeting as her favorite idols back in the day as she set foot on inside the MYX studios in ABS-CBN’s headquarters. Maine wrote on Wednesday:
“Tweeted this 9 years ago and now I am here at Myx! Guest lang naman ako pero waaaahhh nakakatuwa!”
MYX Philippines then tweeted :
THIS JUST HAPPENED!!! @mainedcm dropped by the MYX studio for the first time ever to talk about her upcoming film “Isa Pa With Feelings”! Catch it on MYX News this Saturday at 4:30pm!
According to an article by Push, her dream came true as a result of certain incidents aligning for the actress, starting in 2015. That was the year Maine went viral in Dubsmash.
This led her to host a stint on “Eat Bulaga” aired on the GMA-7 network. But before that, did you know that the actress once auditioned for Pinoy Big Brother: 737?
Mendoza went to the auditions, however, she didn’t get a spot as a housemate. But because of this, the actress got a career in GMA-7.
Being on the opposite network nulled her chances of hosting MYX. But because of her upcoming movie “Isa Pa With Feelings”, Maine’s dream came true.
Maine finally got to have a lead role in an ABS-CBN project. This meant that she would be doing promotional tours within the network’s platforms, including MYX.
