The General’s Daughter versus The Gift nationwide ratings.
NATIONWIDE RATINGS – Here’s the ratings of The General’s Daughter and The Gift according to AGB Nielsen and Kantar Media as of September 16-20.
Falling on almost the same time slot are “The General’s Daughter” of ABS-CBN and the newest series from GMA “The Gift”. TGD is top-billed by Angel Locsin, Tirso Cruz, Janice De Belen, Albert Martinez, Eula Valdez, JC De Vera, Paulo Avelino and among others. Meanwhile, Kapuso series stars Alden Richards, Jean Garcia, Jo Berry, Elizabeth Oropesa, Martin Del Rosario, and among others.
And being pitted against each other, these two television series was compared in terms of ratings. The Kapamilya show is down in its last week while the Kapuso has just started.
And here is the result of their ratings according to Kantar Media and AGB Neilsen:
Based on the data presented, the Kapuso has not yet beaten the Kapamilya show but it is noticeable how it elevated and rose up from 9.5% to 11.2% on AGB and its consistency at the line of 15% based on Kantar.
The Kantar Media “uses a panel size of 2,610 of rural and urban homes which represents the 100 percent of the total Philippine TV viewing population” which only mean that this company measures the nationwide ratings while AGB Nielsen “uses a panel size of 1,980 homes based solely in urban areas that represent only 57 percent of the total Philippine TV viewing population”.
