Kapuso Pambansang Bae Alden Richards expressed his reaction to the hard that Mayor Isko Moreno is doing for Manila.
As the mayor of the capital city of the Philippines, Mayor Isko showed to his constituents that improvements can be done. After his oathtaking, the politician already started clearing the Divisoria from illegal vendors.
With this, the place became more welcoming to everyone. This is one of the factors that Alden noticed. The Kapuso actor shot his new TV series in the said area titled The Gift.
“I was so impressed sa naging development ng Manila ngayon dahil sa pamumuno niya (Mayor Isko) at nakakatuwa dahil itong The Gift ay may showcase sa Manileños at sa mga Kapuso natin all over the Philippines kung paano nag-improve ang Manila and kakakatuwa dahil nakikita namin yun sa locations namin,” Alden shared during a recent press conference.
He also shared the struggles they had while shooting. Though there were people who helped to control the crowd the shooting was not smoothly done. However, Alden said that they are glad they were able to pull it off.
Based on the article from Bandera, the Pambansang Bae commended the area where they had their shoot. “Nararamdaman naming na taga-doon kami. Nakakatulong ‘yung surroundings para maging parte sa pag-i-internalize sa aming roles. Na-miss ko talaga mag-portray ng ganitong role kaya natuwa ako sa ganoong area ang loction namin,” he said.
He added that portraying the role of a blind man gave him excitement, based on the article. Alden Richards said that he did not imagine himself portraying the character of a person with a disability.
