ANGEL LOCSIN – “The General’s Daughter” actress Angel Locsin reacts after show beats “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” of Coco Martin in ratings game.
Last September 6 as per the Kantar media, the television series of Angel Locsin entitled “The General’s Daughter” topped the rating games replacing the “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” of Coco Martin which put his series on the second spot. The General’s Daughter registered 32.8% while FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano got 32.4%.
The lead actress of TGD said that they were able to do it is also because of its preceding program, FPJAP which is actually a consistent top-rater in many years already. The two programs were both produced by the drama unit Dreamscape. However, TGD is now down to its final episode which will be aired in October 4.
Despite the fact that the actress has limitations when it comes to doing actions scenes, she was thankful to the Dreamscape and Sir Deo for trusting her enough to play the lead role. This is because of the disc bulge that developed on her spine that restricted her to do some intense action scenes.
So far, the TGD is the longest running teleserye of the actress which lasted up to 8 months. Thus, making her excited to work on more projects.
She even shared as per PEP’s report, “Ako kasi, five years yung break ko so gusto ko magtrabaho ulit. Pero siguro for a few months pahinga muna ako, may mga aasikasuhin munang personal, and then back to work uli bago ikasal. Sana po, yun po yung gusto ko sanang mangyari!”
