ISKO MORENO – A 9-year-old girl asked Mayor Isko Moreno if he’s willing to become the next president of the Philippines.
Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” is one of the well-known politicians today. He updates his fellowmen about the progress and plans for his city through social media.
A few days ago, the actor-turned-politician said Manila will become the richest city in National Captial Region (NCR) in 2022. He is confidently said that during a meeting with the Makati Business Club. Isko encourages the businessmen to start investing in the city.
No doubt why President Rodrigo Duterte lauded him for his guts and courage of changing the city for the better. The 74-year-old chief executive even said he’s better than him.
Isko Moreno responded to the president’s compliments saying he’s the one who inspired him to be a better politician. He said he got the idea during his trip to Davao City and witnessed how Duterte disciplined his town mates.
Recently, a video of Isko Moreno responding to a question if he wants to become the next president of the Philippines surfaced online. The video was shared on the Raffy Tulfo Defender’s Facebook Page.
It can be seen on the video that the 44-year-old politician was asked by a 9-year-old girl if he’s willing to become the next president during a conference. Isko said he’s not that ready yet. He claimed that all he knows of now is the issue at the Pasig River and there’s still lots to fix in the city.
He was flattered that he was asked about being a president considering he was in his first two months in the office. “I’m grateful… I appreciate it. It’s just that I’ll cross the bridge when I get there,” he said.
