Dimples Romana Hosting Teachers Tribute In Annual “Gabay Guro” Event
DIMPLES ROMANA – The “Kadenang Ginto” actress playing Daniela Mondragon, will be hosting the 12th annual “Gabay Guro” at the Mall Of Asia (MOA) Arena on September 22.
“Gabay Guro” is an education arm and project of the PLDT-SMART Foundation. It is an event that is run with the help of volunteers from PLDT Manager’s Club Inc.
The foundation’s mantra “Changing the lives of those who changed ours” is echoed through this event. “Gabay Guro” has also provided teachers with training, equipped schools with internet connections, and has over 1,000 scholars nationwide.
“Gabay Guro” has always had big celebrity guest attend their events. This year, Dimples Romana will be joined by a stacked line-up of celebrities along with co-hosts Jose Manlo and Wally Bayola.
Each year, the event is jam-packed with top performers. This time, veteran artists like Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Kuh Ledesma, Martin Nievera and Jaya will be featured.
They will be accompanied by other superstars such as Piolo Pascual, Ian Veneracion, Angeline Quinto, Christian Bautista, Gabby Concepcion and more. Also in the line-up are young artists Edward Barber, Maymay Entrata, and Darren Espanto.
“Idol Philippines” champion Zephaine Dimaranan will also join in. Along with her are top recording artists Moira de la Torre, Jayson Dy, Jona, K Brosas, and Klarisse de Guzman.
More or less 20,000 teacher nationwide will be attending the event in MOA Arena. Participants of the event would also have a chance to win wonderful prizes.
