Video of Foreign Nationals Using “Filipino” as Universal Language Circulates Online

The video footage of foreign nationals using “Filipino” as universal language goes viral after it was posted on social media.

English has been used as the universal language and it remains as the most used language all around the world. Filipinos are also using English in communicating with foreign nationals and also for school or work purposes.

However, English is not recognized in several countries and continue to use their native language. Filipino remains as one of the popular local languages across the globe after it was scattered by our fellow countrymen.

Recently, a Facebook user named Martin Dominic has shared the video footage of himself together with his fellow Filipinos walking around San Francisco. Dominic thinks how it might be if ‘Tagalog’ is the universal language.

In the video, it can be seen that a couple of Filipinos walking across the street suddenly approached a foreigner couple using Filipino language. The foreign couple also answered in Tagalog.
