During the last days of August, there are a lot of social media posts about singer Jose Mari Chan. Most of these posts are announcements that he is about to be on the limelight again as the -ber months would start soon.
The Chinese-Filipino singer is popular because of his Christmas songs. He is even tagged as the King of Christmas Carols in the Philippines. Many people like the messages brought by his songs.
Among his most popular Christmas songs are Christmas in Our Hearts and A Perfect Christmas. These can usually be heard in shopping malls and public places.
Recently, GMA-7 network’s Sunday noontime variety show Sunday PINAsaya gave an award for Jose Mari Chan. During his appearance on the show, he revealed his side on being viral everytime the -ber months start.
Based on a report on Pep, the King of Christmas Carols in the Philippines said that he is happy and he feels complimented. He admitted that he is flattered but he is hoping that are no negative memes.
“I feel complimented and flattered. I wish they would not make offensive memes. You know, this song is a gift from our Lord that I share with our countrymen,” Chan said.
Based on the report, the Chinese-Filipino singer has a new Christmas album. It contains 22 new Christmas songs and his daughter, three sons, and grandchild are part of the new album.
Surely, many are excited to hear the new Christmas songs of the King of Christmas Carols in the Philippines. It is the most heart-melting time of the year again.
