PAGASA: Three Areas Are Under Signal No. 2, “Jenny” Further Intensifies
PAGASA – Weather state bureau PAGASA recently gave an update on Tropical Storm Jenny, saying that three ares are under Signal No. 2.
A report in GMA News states that this came from the bureau’s 11AM bulletin on Tuesdaay (August 27). Here are following areas are under Signal No. 2, where they face 60 kilometers per hour to 120 kilometers per hour within 24 hours:
- Isabela
- Aurora
- Quirino
More areas continue to fall under Signal No. 1. Here is the updated list of areas that fall under this category (added areas are highlighted in bold text):

As per the report, Jenny is currently spotted 360 kilometers east of Daet, Camarines Norte or 490 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon.
It is still packed with sustained winds of up to 65 kilometers per hour and gusts up to 80 kilometers per hour; and is moving west northwest at 25 kilometers per hour.
Bicol Region, Samar Provinces, Quezon, Rizal, Bulacan, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Aurora, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Isabela and Cagayan will still face intermittent to frequent moderate to heavy rains.
Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon and Visayas, and the regions of Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, and Bangsamoro, on the other hand, will still face light to moderate with intermittent heavy rains.
