Erwan Heussaff Dedicates IG Post To Late Philanthropist Gina Lopez
GINA LOPEZ – French-Filipino vlogger Erwan Heussaff dedicated his Instagram post to the former DENR Secretary Gina Lopez.
The former Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and long-time chairperson of ABS-CBN, Gina Lopez, has passed away at the age of 65. ABS-CBN released a statement saying she battled against brain cancer. She’s the sister of the tv network’s chairman, Emeritus Gabby Lopez.
Filipino people admire her commitment to protecting the Philippine environment and its people. During her service in the government, she led the big push to rehabilitate Pasig River and the reforestation of the La Mesa Watershed.
Lots of people mourn the death of the philanthropist including one of her friends Erwan Heussaff. The model and vlogger penned a heartfelt tribute on his Instagram account.
In the caption, Heussaff expressed how much he admired the caring heart and love of Gina Lopez to the environment. He also shared their 4-day escapade in Tawi Tawi.
Erwan Heussaff said he has never met someone as passionate as the former environment secretary. He said Lopez has no qualms of speaking out on behalf of the voiceless community.
The 31-year-old celebrity chef urged his followers to be inspired by the good deed of the late philanthropist. “We should all be inspired by, urging us to become better and help out, in whatever little ways we can, to improve the lives of everyone in our country,” he said.
During their visit in Tawi Tawi, Erwan Heussaff said Gina Lopez woke up earlier than them and met the leaders in the community. He witnessed the pure heart her pure heart that made a great impact in his life. On the latter part of his post, he wrote a heartfelt quote for Lopez.
