Authorities Arrested Pregnant Woman, 4 Others in Tondo Over Drugs
PREGNANT WOMAN – The police authorities arrested a woman and four(4) other people during a drug buy-bust operation in Tondo.
Undeniably, the operations conducted by the authorities in the different areas in the Philippines show the extent of the presence of drugs in the Philippines. The move continues and more and more people are nabbed.
Cleaning the country from the presence of drugs and corruption are the main campaign promises of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. The Chief Executive is determined to continue the fight.
Recently, another operation was conducted in Tondo, Manila. The operation led to the arrest of five(5) people.
Based on a recent report on ABS-CBN News, the police authorities arrested a pregnant woman in a drug buy-bust operation in Tondo. Aside from her who was caught selling, four(4) other people were also nabbed.
The woman was identified as alyas “Girlie”. She was the target of the buy-bust operation conducted by the authorities. She is three(3) months pregnant.
The runner of alyas “Girlie” is one of the four(4) others arrested by the authorities. He’s identified as alyas “Matthew”. They admitted the accusations against them.
Three(3) other people were nabbed as they were caught buying at the Parola Compound when the operation was conducted. Based on the report, Binondo Police got P500.00 worth of drugs from the target.
The suspects are set to face charges over violation of Republic Act 9165. We’ll keep you posted for updates.
